Planning For Admission

Hickory House Recovery understands that deciding to seek residential treatment is often difficult. The process can seem both frightening and overwhelming. Our team wants to ensure that the transition to our living facility is simple. Once you arrive on campus you will be greeted by our Intake Coordinator who will guide you step by step through our admission process. Once the Intake process is complete and the necessary paperwork has been signed, our staff will staff will provide you with a tour of the facility’s amenities. Once at the chateau, you will be shown your private room, and will be introduced to our compassionate staff. After you’ve had an opportunity to settle in, a staff member will review our client handbook with you and answer any questions that you may have regarding your stay.

The safety of everyone in our facility is paramount. In order to accomplish this, you and a staff member will review your personal items to ensure that they are appropriate. Your room has a safe, in which you may keep and store all personal items after review.

Your individualized treatment begins when you meet with your primary therapist to discuss your symptoms and treatment goals. You will have the opportunity to meet with each member of the treatment team to begin the development of your treatment plan.
